Flying ace Angela Hogan is forced to put aside her personal dream of setting an aviation record when the Depression threatens her small Illinois air freight company. In a last-ditch effort to avoid bankruptcy, Angela recklessly hires Jack Clancy, a renowned war hero and barnstormer with a daredevil reputation and an eye for the ladies.

Angela needs the business and publicity Jack brings, but he's trouble in and out of the cockpit. Fiery tempers soon turn to smoldering passion, and Angela's heart soars.
