Terri is a 19-year-old who hates her father and mother. Her seething anger is caused by their passive acceptance of her father's layoff after 21 years. Her smoldering desire for revenge is not only aimed at her father but at the company and... At everything else.

Together with her boyfriend, she starts a rampage of terror. Much too late, Terri's mother turns to Rick Broder, a pop-psi reporter/columnist for help and advice. While tracking the couple, Rick realizes that a spree of murders and the couple might be linked. Broder now finds himself trapped in his own life and death situation.
