Terri is a 19-year-old who hates her father and mother. Her seething anger is caused by their passive acceptance of her father's layoff after 21 years. Her smoldering desire for revenge is not only aimed at her father but at the company and... At everything else.

Together with her boyfriend, she starts a rampage of terror. Much too late, Terri's mother turns to Rick Broder, a pop-psi reporter/columnist for help and advice.
