Beware, the Snowman

Sherpia's a very cold place on the edge of the Arctic Circle. Jaclyn has no idea why her aunt decided to move there. There's also howling noises at night, scar-faced snowmen in front of every house, and something on top of the mountain that seems very interested in Jaclyn.
