Niqui wrote her first novel, Night to Remember, while she was still a senior at The University of Southern California (USC). During those years, she was highly focused on building the right academic foundation so that she might go on to work in the field of research medicine. She majored in Chemistry at USC and later went on to get a graduate degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences.
