Leslie Schwartz is the author of the L.A. Times best-selling novel, Angels Crest, (Doubleday, 2004) which was also a BookSense 76 pick for July 2004 and has been translated into 7 languages and published in 8 foreign countries.

Her first novel, Jumping The Green (Simon & Schuster, 1999) won the James Jones Literary Society Award for Best First Novel. She has had numerous short story publications and her nonfiction has appeared in many newspapers and magazines throughout the United States. She was chosen as Kalliope Magazine’s Woman Writer of the Year for 2004.
