Set in San Francisco, this novel follows the lives of three women. Elizabeth is a surgeon who is in love with her colleague, Nick, who is oblivious to her. Larissa is a top model who escapes from her husband and Clarissa, a dress designer, struggles to come to terms with her husband's death.
