About J D Salinger
Jerome David Salinger was born in Manhattan, New York, on New Year's Day, 1919. Salinger is an American author, best known for his 1951 novel The Catcher in the Rye, as well as for his reclusive nature. He has not published a new work since 1965 and has not been interviewed since 1980.
