About George Saunders
George Saunders is the author of the story collection CivilWarLand in Bad Decline, a finalist for the 1996 PEN/ Hemingway Award and a New York Times Notable Book of the year. His work, which has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's, and Story, has received two National Magazine Awards and three times been included in O.Henry Awards collections. He teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Syracuse University.
