Darcy Scott is a former symphony orchestra marketing director who works as a marine industry publicist when she's not off adventuring. An experienced ocean cruiser, she's sailed to Grenada and back on a whim, island-hopped through the Caribbean for a year, and been struck by lightning in the middle of the Gulf Stream. She currently lives with her husband on their sailboat in Maine.
