Little Coyote is tired of being told what to do, so he decides to run away. "Make sure you take your special medicine bag," Mother Coyote reminds him. "It will protect you against danger."

Off goes Little Coyote, over hills and under trees, only to discover that perhaps he needs more than just the magic inside his medicine bag to keep him safe from the world.
