Tom Carson was beginning to consider himself a failure as a doctor until he got a case that tried his skill and earned him a fat fee. But as an aftermath, he found himself under suspicion and there was only one man who could clear his name, but that was Jim Hill and he was a black sheep, a treacherous outlaw! Carson's quest for Jim Hill led him to Tombstone in Arizona where he was befriended by Wyatt and Vergil Earp and he earned respect for his skill as a surgeon. But Tombstone quickly changed from a boom city into a ghost town, and amid death and destruction Tom began to win respect for his skills and his heavy guns too.
