Stood up at the altar. Kate Brewster never dreamed it could happen to her. But here it is, her wedding day - the church is ready, the guests are assembled, and Matt Yothers is nowhere to be found. Kate hears the whispers: Everyone is saying that the groom has gotten cold feet. But Kate knows this is not the case; something has happened to her fiance, and she will not rest until she finds him.

As Kate tries to retrace Matt's stepson that fateful day, she comes up with more questions than answers. Matt's disappearance seems tied to a beautiful, mysterious woman who showed up at his hotel the morning of the wedding. When evidence suggests that Matt has followed this woman to Hawaii, Kate catches the next plane out. Her search takes her all over the Hawaiian Islands, and the closer she gets to locating Matt, the bigger the mystery gets - and the more dangerous. Though logic tells her to give up and go home, all Kate can do is listen to her heart. She must reach Matt - no matter what the consequences...
