Based on Alexei Sayle's columns in "Time Out" and "The Sunday Mirror", and illustrated with his line drawings, this collection charts a year of Great Bus Journeys. It starts in January with the Number 28 from Golders Green to Wandsworth (which doesn't run, as there isn't any crew), taking in Miami, Hollywood, Auckland, Stoke Newington, Zaire and Moscow on the way. And it finishes in London on New Year's Eve with five Great Minicab Journeys of the World.
