Grass in Idleness

Caught up between the pressures from top local racketeers, from his own unconventional paramours and from extra bits on the side, Peeper, a practising 'Grass', decided that the inside of a prison cell was a desirable place to be. There were other advantages too - instead of having to chase important people, he found them only too ready to come to him, and liaising with Detective Sergeant Boggis went on apace.
