“Are we ready, children?” Noona asks. “We want to get a good spot to watch the show!” She pauses, though, glancing over at me with a hint of hesitation. I blink, recalling the news I’d heard.

“Noona?” I say. “Did something happen—“

“We’ll talk about it after the show, Whitney,” she says, firmly. There’s a stern look in her eyes that has me nodding, rather than trying to get more out of her. Yep, I think I was right. Something is about to happen. Breaking the mirror in Mirrorlands probably unleashed something massive, and we’re all going to wind up spreading out over America, saving people from… well, I don’t know WHAT, but it’ll be super dramatic and I’ll have to wear that stupid skintight uniform—but at least it’s programmable? Should I make it look like a mirror? I could be a walking disco ball!

“She’s thinking something weird, again, isn’t she?” Kingston says, moving in front of me.

“I am NOT! I was just considering making my white uniform reflective, like a mirror,” I tell him.

“Definitely weird,” everyone else agrees.
