Israel Boyd grew up on the south side of Diamond Cove, North Carolina with familial ties to the DC Mob, but that didn't stop him from attending Diamond Cove University and obtaining a degree in sports management. Despite getting his ticket out of the hood, when tragedy strikes, Haseem has a point to prove and vengeance to seek, so he steps up as the head of the DC Mob. Haseem's actions leave many confused, especially Noe Simmons who desires to be far removed from the street life. When she cuts their brief love affair short, all Haseem can do is respect it because nothing and no one can stop him from what he set out to do. Life goes on. But as it goes, he begins to understand why Noe didn't want any parts of this life, and Haseem begins to question if he's in too deep.
