About Jay Russell
Jay Russell was born in New York City and lives in London. He is the author of four previous novels, including the "Marty Burns" mysteries: Burning Bright, Greed & Stuff, and Celestial Dogs, selected as one of the best novels of 1997 by the Washington Post Book World. St. Martin's Press originally planned to publish BROWN HARVEST, but cancelled the book under lawyers' advice due to its content.
