The House of Jade was alive with love and laughter and the whole world seemed to be composed of the wispy smiling moon and the weeping willow trees. Moonpearl promised to love her husband, the honourable Sun Kim, little knowing how soon she was to betray that love. For Moonpearl was not really Chinese - and this discovery was to bring heartache.
