Nurse in Charge

When Amanda Wright arrived at Croxton Hall Nursing Home she left behind in London a phase of her life which had ended with the death of her mother. She met Doctor Richard Ormond, whose father, Charles, owned the Hall and lived on the adjoining farm. Richard was an intensely hard-working young man, and Amanda found herself in a position to help him solve a serious problem. But that was only one of a number of problems which arose to test her to the limit, and she tried to rise to the challenge with courage and determination.
