When Steve Hart and his wife Mary leave Texas, they look forward to an idyllic life in Bleak Valley.
The locals, however, have other ideas.
Wary of strangers and put out that the range they covet is being snatched away from under their feet, they make it their mission to kick the Harts out of Bleak Valley.
Their plan seems to be working when death threats nearly scare Steve and Mary away.
That is, until it's uncovered the entire valley was left to them by the previous owner, and they reason they can't not settle there now.
All too soon, though, shooting breaks out and further threats are made. Murder lingers in the air, and the future seems bleak.
It'll take straight shooting and strong nerves if Hart wants to come out on top.
