Max Bravo is an opera singer who is summoned to Berkeley to comfort his distressed friend Claudia, who has just been dumped by her husband. While walking Claudia's dog, Max discovers a dog park and its sundry pack of dog walkers. They are a decidedly motley crew; all they have in common is the dog park. Then one of them disappears.
