Colleen won the 2004 and 2005 American Christian Fiction Writers Mentor of the Year Award for her efforts in her other passion - helping aspiring writers. Her books have been in the finals and won many awards, including the fun of being a Rita finalist in 2004. She lives with her husband in Indiana where they are knee-deep in wallpaper as they restore a Victorian home.
