The MD She Had to Marry

(The sixth book in the Bravo Family series)

Pregnant as the result of an impulsive five-day fling nine months earlier, Lacey Bravo is determined not to marry a man who is on the rebound from her sister and, therefore, couldn't possibly love her even though he is the baby's father. But Dr. Logan Severance knows what is right, and he isn't about to take "no" for an answer, especially when he has come all the way to Wyoming from California to convince Lacey to do just that! An independent heroine who meets life on her own terms, an upstanding, caring hero who doesn't recognize true love when he finds it, and a situation overflowing with built-in internal conflict result in a warm, satisfying story with a dusting of humor (e.g., the hilariously tender proposal scene) and surprisingly effective sexual tension, considering that the heroine is pregnant (or postpartum) for a large part of the book. This is the latest in Rimmer's "Bravo" family series. Rimmer (Practically Married) lives in Oklahoma. Copyright 2000 Cahners Business Information.
