With the defenses of Winding Circle Temple seriously weakened by an earthquake, Tris and her fellow mages-in-training try to join their different magic powers to protect the Winding Circle community from a pirate attack.Tris, Sandy, Daja and Briar have come to love living in Winding Circle and will do anything to protect it, even if this means unleashing their untrained magic on the world.
