About Rosemary Pollock
Rosemary Pollock is the daughter by the writer Ida Pollock and Major Hugh
Alexander Pollock, editor of the book department in the publishing firm of
George Newnes. Before marrying her mother, her father divorced from the
Children's writer Enid Blyton, with whom he had two daughters. Rosemary
didn't have much relation with her half-sisters, Gillian Mary Baverstock
(1931-2007) and Imogen Mary Smallwood (1935). Her father died in Malta in
1971.
