Clare Thornton is stranded by a blizzard and finds her way to the nearesthouse which turns out to be the mountain home of movie star Logan Longcross.ssuming Clare is an adoring fan invading his privacy, Logan behaves rudely,and Clare determines to leave as soon as the roads are cleared. But rightbehind the snow plow is producer Marvin Hobbs, certain he will find hiswife, Janine, in Logan's arms. Suddenly Clare is cast in the role of Logan'sfiancee, to prevent Janine from maliciously ruining the movie deal Logan andMarvin are negotiating. And though it is not in the script, Clare findsherself falling in love.
