Successful banker and action-seeker Daniel Spencer wants an extreme experience. A chance encounter with the head of a Maritime Security company has him sign up to join an exclusive club known as Deep Six. But what is the Deep Six? Caught in the web of its sinister war games, Daniel finds that he and his girlfriend, the daughter of billionaire shipping tycoon Christos Pathos, are now pawns in a deadly game of piracy.

Meanwhile, in the dark hallways of Northwood, home to the British Naval Command Task Force 151, M16 officer Harry Ogilvy is summoned by Commander Dominic Langdon to investigate the sudden surge of piracy in the Gulf of Aden, but all is not what it seems. An elusive woman known as the Rain Angel and the CIA are involved.

At the centre of the high-stakes action thriller is Mark McCabe, former banker and SAS officer. Hired by Pathos to rescue his daughter from Abshir Mohammed, the pirate warlord, he enlists his old friend and MI5 agent Mike Mooney. Ogilvy learns of McCabe s involvement and forces him to work for MI6 and track down Abshir. McCabe must secure the ship and its cargo, but he discovers that the pirates are not the only danger. He also gets a call from his nemesis the Rain Angel. In a bid to work out whom to trust he must use all his skills to uncover the truth.
