In her early 20s, Sue returns from Australia to 1950s England and on board ship he meets Nick, a New Zealand boy who is planning to stay in England for a couple of years. But when Sue finds work in a gallery selling her English friend Dave's paintings, a revival of her teenage crush on him threatens her relationship with Nick.
