Harold Pinter recommends
In the Forest (2002) Edna O'Brien "In the Forest is a savage portrait of desolation and rage, brilliantly told, truly shocking." | The Act of Love (2008) Howard Jacobson "The Act of Love is naked, haunting, unflinching. Its account of sexual obsession is frightening, painful and finally very moving. A tour de force." |
