Starting her career in the fashion industry, she spent several years working in the showroom of a large accessory firm in New York, then moved in to top management at the Calvin Klein corporation and finally over to Oleg Cassini in Toronto Canada. Not satisfied with the fashion industry, she moved into film and television. But none of these satisfied her as much as the publishing industry and writing.
