A former television writer and once a reporter for a small weekly newspaper, Carlene ONeil is the author of One Foot in the Grape, the first in a series set in central Californias wine country.
A graduate of California State University, Northridge, and a certified wine specialist, Carlene grew up in the heart of California wine country, where she lived on a family winery for several years. In addition to her years as a television writer, she also hosted interview/talk programs on both television and radio.
When she isnt writing, Carlene spends her time as a real estate broker, selling commercial office buildings in Los Angeles. She lives outside of Los Angeles with her husband and an assortment of animals.
