Lady Detective

(1995)
A novel by

Store detective Elizabeth Parker was a fan of television crime writer and producer Robert Foye. She marveled that a layman could write so knowledgeably of professional criminals. However, she stopped marveling when she caught him stealing from a display counter. In an attempt to bring Foye to heel, Elizabeth accepted his offer of a job as advisor on his show. Unfortunately, she failed to consider that even lady detectives are first of all women - and that cornered criminals can be dangerous.
