Rex Miller takes things seriously, especially where his personal well-being is concerned. If he feels threatened in any manner, he doesn't mind eliminating the problem. Permanently. He feels that's how a responsible person should act. While he's had luck in his back pocket throughout his life, he realizes it can't last. But he has no idea how bad things will get once it turns on him.

Author Biography: Genevieve Neff is a native Texan, who lives with her husband and small menagerie of pets which includes dogs, box turtles, and a hedgehog, in a rural subdivision not far from Houston. She has been writing for most of her life, beginning in sixth grade with a poem her teacher especially liked.
