Murder in Edinburgh

(2020)
(The seventh book in the Third-Culture Kid Mystery series)
A novel by

Annie Young-Perret - third-culture kid and sometimes accidental detective - is contacted by her old school chum, Chantal, from Edinburgh, Scotland. Her husband, Duncan, recently died as the result of a hit-and-run, and Chantal is sure it was not an accident. She asks Annie to investigate and help her prove Duncan was murdered.
Annie goes undercover at the multi-national insurance company where Duncan worked to see if she can find out any new information about the "accident." Meanwhile, other company employees die under suspicious circumstances in Boston, Colorado Springs, and St. Petersburg, Russia, all taken out by a serial killer who delights in finding original ways to kill.
Joining her in the search are Annie's retired French police chief husband, Roger, and a handful of locals, including two off-duty Edinburgh police officers. Together, they're racing against the clock to stop a murderer before any of them becomes the next victim.
