Olivia’s once happy life is nowhere near happy any longer. Trapped in a marriage with a monster, all she can do is try to hold on. Escape isn’t an option. Not unless she wants to risk her entire family not to mention her best friend and boss, Will. As things at home continue to escalate, the one place she feels safe at is work, with Will, which doesn’t help her keep her old feelings for him at bay.

And when nothing can continue to seal the cracks constantly forming, and everyone she loves uncovers the truth, it’s just the beginning, rather than the end to her heartache. The only way out of this was to face the monster directly, and hope she comes out in one piece.

With the tragedy of her marriage over, she can finally begin to pick up the pieces. Or attempt to at least. With everyone knowing her business, just getting through the day is nearly impossible, even with help from her family and Will. When Will offers her the chance to get away from everything, she jumps on it, especially when it means being near him more. Nothing’s likely to come from it, but at least she’ll be near him.

Will left it too late to realize how he felt about Olivia. Even if at one time it seemed like he might have a chance to worm his way between Olivia and Scott, after what happened to her, he’s surely lost it now. It won’t stop the way he feels. He’s loved her all this time and he knows now that he’ll love her always.

He’s willing to be patient, to simply be there for her, love her regardless of what may come of it. If there’s even the slightest chance of her loving him in return one day, he’ll risk it. He’ll risk everything for her, to be with her. After what she endured, risked for him, he’ll wait patiently and hope that she’ll love him again one day, be able to love him in every way. The way he’ll never stop loving her.
