Nick goes to collect conkers from Cottar's Yard and finds a half starved dog chained up there. He leaves with the conkers but decides to rescue the dog later. Then Nick's gran uses her "conker magic" to help him become conker champion of Jubilee Park and he is rewarded with a special surprise.
