James A. McGoldrick and Nikoo K. Coffey McGoldrick are an American husband-wife writing team. They sign historical-romance novels as May McGoldrick and as Nicole Cody and suspense-romance novels as Jan Coffey.

James A. McGoldrick, who worked as a professor, has a Ph.D. in sixteenth-century British literature and Nikoo K. Coffey was a manufacturing engineer. Married since 1980, they have two children and reside in Watertown, Connecticut.
