Pirate Lover

(1980)
A novel by

"I WISH I'D NEVER SET EYES ON YOU!" Tammy gasped and stared at Hugo, her green eyes wide with distress. "You really know how to make a girl feel uncomfortable, don't you? How do you think I feel knowing I'm only here on sufferance?" "I don't care how you feel," he rasped. "I just wish to God you weren't here now." How cruel he was! Tammy felt a cold shiver run down her spine. "You have only yourself to blame,"she said coldly. What Tammy couldn't understand was that if Hugo was so much against her being on his boat, why didn't he do something about it? After all, she was totally in his hands. Until Hugo contacted Emil Conin about her stolen things, she was his prisoner. It was as simple as that.
