The cursed apple doesn't fall far from the supernatural tree.

You would think after what I've been through, my demon dealing days were done. Turns out those jerks are not as forgiving as I would like. So into hiding I go.

Armed with the deed to a place in Podunk, Nowhere, courtesy of my new shaman benefactor, I skip town and plan to lie low for a while. Lucky for me, Podunk has problems of its own that require the services of a PI. Seems someone's got a taste for wolf shifters. Not that I'm a fan of chaos, but a girl's gotta eat.

Much to my annoyance, Podunk, Nowhere isn't too far for the denizens of Hell to track me down. I need to end this - I'm tired of demons spilling out whenever I shake the family tree.

Dark Night is the second book in The Mostly Open Paranormal Investigative series.
