| "Enchanting, sexy, and thoroughly entertaining." Katherine Sutcliffe |
Libby Grayson returns to her childhood home in the Florida Keys somewhat defeated and decidedly bitter. She spent the last seven years of her life in New York building a career as an accountant and living with her partner, Brett, and their son, J. P. But when Brett suddenly leaves her, she realizes that she'd been a fool to ever trust him. Back in Sunset Key, Libby finds that the quaint town she remembers is shabby, run-down, and in dire need of help--and her grandfather's restaurant is probably in the worst shape of all. Enter Declan O'Shae, a mysterious man with an Irish brogue. Everyone finds him charming except for Libby, who's certain he's come to take advantage of her grandfather and his financial troubles. Rather than listen to Libby's concerns about the town and Declan, her grandfather's longtime chef, Tito, is convinced that Declan has come to town to save them all. In spite of a touch of predictability, McCoy's novel is a fun, easy read.
