Gr 7 Up-- This sixth in the series continues the adventures of two teenage sleuths, Amanda Hart, student, and Mickey Soul, owner of a bicycle messenger service in San Francisco. When Mick is threatened by thugs and told to shut down his business, he asks Amanda to help discover which of his messengers has been used to make deliveries for a drug ring. Action is evenly paced, with clues scattered throughout. Conversation is lively and plausible, and there's a clever twist in the plot. A mild mystery for the paperback racks that's a little better than the Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys series. --Blair Christolon, Prince William Library, Manassas, VA
