In post-Cold War Warsaw, American businesswoman Sarah Leonard oversees the construction of a new hotel. After a headless body is discovered in a tunnel near the construction site, Sarah hears the cries of a child. Sarah and Komisarz Stefan Rej search for the child through an underground maze used by the Polish Resistance and uncover the legend of the Tunnel Child--a murderous creature with the face of an angel created by the Nazis.
