Jess Ford is a foundling, raised by the folks of Sundown Town. It is cowboy country, and Jess longs to be a cowboy, but he can't be without a horse. These five stories show how Jess finds a job, and how he meets Destiny, the horse who becomes his partner in adventure. Together they ride through the Wild West, and make a special friend, Sweet Rian, the Sioux Indian girl.
