The Third Force targeted the magnificent Nelson Mandela in 1994/5. Ex-Colonel Van der Walt headed its White Leopards and hitman Steyn, damning Police Lieutenant Rogers for spying, from Johnny Hugo s Anti-Terrorist Unit. Johnny s childhood buddy Tony Nkoba, now politically powerful, violently criticizes Mandela. Rogers slumps stabbed into Johnny s office, dies. Johnny drives to the Colonel s, via Table Mountain towering over legion cascading lights. WHAT Rogers? retorts the Colonel, presenting his enchanting daughter Simone. She visits Johnny, selling her father s in a murderous extremist plot. They surf Kalk Bay s phosphorescent sea like illuminated dolphins, make love. The Colonel shows Steyn a flat dominating Cape Town s Grand Parade where President Mandela will speak, and a .375 Winchester Magnum. The Colonel, suspicious, ties up Simone. Mandela finds that his old ally Nkoba now fiercely opposes him. Does Simone get free? Whom does Steyn shoot? Can Johnny save his President?
