About David Mamet
David Mamet was born in Chicago in 1947. He studied at Goddard College, Vermont, and at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York. His plays, screenplays and books on drama practice have met with glowing reviews and been acclaimed as classics of their kind.
