British photographer/artist/director Dave McKean is perhaps best known for his numerous collaborations with Neil Gaiman, including "Signal to Noise", "Sandman", and "Death". His dislocating visual images have graced covers for the likes of "Swamp Thing", "Judge Dredd", Clive Barker, Steven King, Ray Bradbury, The Rolling Stones, Bill Bruford, Skinny Puppy, Michael Nyman, Buckethead, The Residents, John Cale, The Misfits, and too many more to mention. This is one of his earliest solo publications, a beautifully designed and printed volume of his haunting photographic collages.
