Born in Bermuda and came to New Brunswick, CAN in 1942 following in the steps of the uncle for whom he is named, down to their both being Rhodes Scholars. Is professor emeritus of Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. Taught English and writing including drama. Has written and directed numerous plays.
