Somewhere South of Midnight

On a hot summer's night, on a lonely stretch of motorway, something unidentified collides head-on with the traffic. In the carnage that ensues, 87 people are killed. Seven survivors emerge unscathed from the catastrophe and have somehow acquired the power to heal or destroy with a simple touch.
