Wickham's jealousy and resentment of Darcy has grown steadily throughout the years and Darcy rightly suspects that Wickham is up to no good. But even though Darcy enlists the aid of Colonel Fitzwilliam to keep an eye on Wickham's activity, both men are shocked and dismayed when Wickham kidnaps Elizabeth and her newborn son. Knowing that Wickham has nothing left to lose, Darcy and Fitzwilliam rush to Elizabeth's rescue, but will they reach the hostages in time, and when they do, what kind of battle will they have to face? In keeping with such dramatic events, all the members of the Bennet and Darcy families rally-including the newly-engaged Georgiana Darcy, and Lady Catherine deBourgh, whose outrageous response to Darcy's troubles only makes things worse.
