How to Become the Dark Lord (and Die Trying) (2024)
(Dark Lord Davi, book 1)
Django Wexler
"Funny as hell, multi-layered, and affecting. Wexler's irreverent demolition of the fantasy genre doubles as a reverent exploration of where the magic comes from."

Sword Catcher (2023)
(Chronicles of Castellane, book 1)
Cassandra Clare
"A charming return to the big fat fantasy novels of happy memory, with a modern character-driven narrative. Vivid and clever."

The House of Sacrifice (2019)
(Empires of Dust, book 3)
Anna Smith-Spark
"An exciting new voice in dark fantasy."
